English : Grammar - nouns ending in y

Recap the definition of noun, verb, adjective and adverb
Recap types of nouns - common, proper, collective, abstract.
Talk about the concept of singular and plural.
Exemplify simple plurals - add an s
Created a list on the whiteboard of nouns ending in y.
Noted that when noun ends vowel+y simply add an s but when a consonant
+y we change the y to i then add es
Students turned all the nouns on the list to plural nouns using the
rule and then selected 12 of the new words they have made to create a
different and interesting sentence.
