Information writing - "Treasure Hunting"
After we read the passage together a number of times we went through
the vocabulary.
Once we were familiar with the passage we looked at the True/False statements.
As well as stating whether the statements made were true or false
children had to justify their answer by reference to the text or, if
conclusions were deduced or inferred, say how they had arrived at
their conclusions.
